The owner of this 2008 Porsche Carrera S picked up the car in Nov last year. It's his daily driver but he also regularly tracks it on various circuits around Vic.
It's very refreshing to see a car like this being put on the track and the owner has done mods to it in terms of upgraded Brembos from a GT3 and also race pads etc.

DESCRIPTION
This car had just recently been bought by the current owner. Some prior paint readings around the car indicated that it'd had a fairly hard life. Readings were all over the place, but read as low as 68 microns on the bonnet/roof, to up over 130 microns on the boot (which had obviously been resprayed at some stage).
The car had had a dealer detail quite recently, so there was only a little oxidation. However there were plenty of swirls and buffer trails in the soft Mazda paint

This one is the weekend runabout of an existing customer. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to working on it.
It's a mid-80s Porsche that's been completely and meticulously re-built from the ground up to be a replica of a 73 Carrera RS. Right down to the single stage paint.
The car is photogenic enough, and, with the right attention has the potential to be a real show car. So the owner wanted it to have a good going over and some sealant-based paint protection applied

This one is a return client. I corrected and sealed his black 2009 Mazda 3 MPS almost exactly this time last year (6th Nov 2011).
The sealant-based paint protection applied on the first visit lasted a good 11 months.
Only in the 12th month had it disappeared from the car. During this time the owner also had the front resprayed to repair a whole mess of stone chips.

This VW Scirocco R was in for a 2 stage minor correction and sealant. The car had less than 1600kms on the clock and there were some minor issues from the pre-delivery detail that needed rectifying . These included some swirls and scratches that were missed. Some light buffer trails in the passenger side rear quarter. Plus a mess of polish residue on the plastics and lodged in panel gaps etc.

The owner of this 2003 Alfa Romeo booked in for a songle day paint correction, however after having washed the car and seen the state of it, and quick phone call later, it was decided that it would be a two day job. The car was roughly around 40-45% when it came to me. It left at around 85%. So still a marked improvement even though it wasn't a complete, back to factory finish job. There were just too many rids, pitting marks, and embedded etchings to completely correct out.
